About our client
Providing all aspects of Civil Construction across Southeast Queensland, our client is currently working across several locations around the North Brisbane area. They are currently seeking an experienced Civil Crew Leader to join their growing team. This opportunity is on a temporary basis, however will lead into a permanent employment opportunity for the right candidate.
What you will be doing
As a Civil Crew Leader you will be required to work Monday to Friday, 9-10-hour shifts. You will be responsible for the following
Direct and supervise the day to day work operations on assigned projects
Ensure high standards for quality and safety maintained
Coordinating construction work
Allocating general and daily responsibilities
Facilitate the efficient construction of works by adequate site management of all plant, equipment, materials, labour and sub-contractors necessary for project completion
Operate MR Truck and Machinery if required
Ensure professional standards and company objectives are maintained in relation to company reputations, service quality, OH&S and environmental standards.
What you will need
White Card
MR Truck Licence or higher (Mandatory)
Experienced and skilled Excavator Operator with relevant tickets (Highly desirable)
Experienced with small to medium concrete restoration work, Driveways and Footpaths
Experience with Exposed aggregate mixes an advantage but not essential
Available for immediate start and open to long term ongoing work
Good organisational skills
Team leadership
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience
Ability to prioritise and allocate resources to ensure effective delivery of work tasks.
Experience with, and a commitment to Quality, OH&S and Environmental management systems.
