About Our Client
WorkPac are currently seeking Mechanical Fittersfor immediate start at Henderson and Garden Island to work on Submarine Maintenance with our reputable client.
This role is working on a 9 day fortnight with option for overtime if desired. Shifts include working 6:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday and 6.00am to 3pm on Friday. Every second Friday is an RDO
What You Will Be Doing
Reading/understanding drawing
Installation of Bilge, pumps and mechanical equipment
Flange Pipe installations
What You Will Need
Mechanical Trade Certificate (Electrical)
Australian Defence Security Clearance.
Previous Pipe Fitter experience
Copper Nickel pipe welding experience preferred
Police Clearance (Within 3 Monthsor willing to obtain)
Confined Space Ticket and White Card
Covid19 Vaccinated
Able to Pass a Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
