• $42-$50Per Hour + Penalties + Daily Travel - (Rate negotiable based on experience)

About our client
Providing all aspects of Civil Construction works including drainage, storm water, earthworks, and road construction. Our client is seeking skilled Civil Excavator Operators for various projects across North Brisbane.

What you will be doing
As an Excavator Operator you will be required to work Monday to Friday, 9-10-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating Excavators of various sizes in a Civil Construction setting, ideally with experience in the water management sector. You must have proven experience with the following and be responsible for;

• Work with the ground crew in the excavation and installation process of pipe laying, on line and to grade

• Conduct trench excavation in open and confined environments

• Loading and installation of trench support systems

• Conduct detailed excavations around existing live services

• Follow directions of ground crew regarding excavation, craning, gravel placement and grading

• Responsible for the placement of sewer, water and drainage pipes and fittings, conduits, culverts

• Assist in the construction of concrete structures, manholes, chambers, pits, headwalls

What you will need

• White Card

• Excavator Ticket

• Experience operating Excavators from 8t-30t

• Experience using attachments and rock breaking/digging around rock

• Accurate and precise operating skills to be able to work around underground live services

• Experience with water works, sewerage and pipe laying and earthworks

• Available for immediate start and open to long term ongoing work

• Requirement to be physically fit and healthy to perform duties
