WorkPac are looking for a skilled and reliable HR Driver with a forklift ticket to join our team in Mackay. In this role, you'll be responsible for general forklift operations in the recycling yard, including stacking and moving bins of recyclables and loading trucks. This is a Monday to Friday position with occasional Saturday work and a focus on maintaining efficiency and safety in the recycling operations.
Duties:
Operate a forklift (up to 5T) to handle and move bins of recyclables within the recycling yard.
Stack and organize bins and recyclables efficiently.
Load and unload trucks with recyclables.
Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and perform basic maintenance as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Communicate effectively with team members and other site personnel.
About You:
HR License and Forklift Ticket are essential.
Experience in forklift operation within a recycling or industrial environment is desirable.
Proficient in operating a forklift up to 5T.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills and a commitment to safety.
Must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
