ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and manganese across Northwest Queensland and Western Australia. With steelmaking coal being an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world, this is an fantastic opportunity to join a leading growing? client with a focus on sustainability, innovation and progression within the workforce and supporting local communities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

In this role you will be required to operate within the Production Department on site as a Multi Skilled Operator. You will be required to operate the following machinery: CAT 789 or equivalent, Dozer D10/D11, Grader 16/24 or Excavator. You will be required to work a working a Lifestyle roster of days and nights, this role is suitable for Residential or DIDO candidates as camp and meals are provided. This site is listed as a non-smoking site.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Previous mining experience operating dump trucks with a minimum skill of CAT 789 + two other skills such as Truck + Dozer + Grader or Excavator (Minimum 12 months experience) within a production coal mining setting

• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.

• SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia

• The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment prior to commencement
