About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking a Parks Coordinator for a position based in Capel, WA. This role is permanent full-time position, offering a9 day fortnight working roster.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• The Parks Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the Shire???s public open spaces and amenities are maintained efficiently and effectively to the required standard, on time and to budget.

• Responsible for reporting and coaching however want someone who can lead and run the team and projects from start to finish.

Skills and Experience required:

• Demonstrated supervisory/leadership skills

• Experience and/or knowledge in construction and maintenance of parks, sport fields, streetscapes, and reserves

• Demonstrated programming experience

• Contract management experience

• Effective communication skills

• Intermediate computer skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety Regulations

• Construction Safety Awareness Card

• Current ???C??? class licence

• Qualifications in horticulture or landscaping

• Turf management and irrigation maintenance skills

• Supervision or leadership qualifications

• Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control

• Experience with SynergySoft

• Current ???MR??? class licence

• Chainsaw certificate

• Chemical safety training

• Senior First Aid certificate
