About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a Principal Health, Safety & Wellness person to join our esteemed client's team based in Port Hedland. This position is Monday to Friday, permanent opportunity with a relocation allowance and housing provided!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement, review and maintain workplace health, safety and wellness programs.
Maintain compliance with WHS regulation and standards.
Conduct workplace health and safety auditing
Oversee implementation, compliance and management of WHS Management System and Audit programs.
Coordinate the development of comprehensive WHS training programs.
Coordinate investigations of all incidents throughout the organisation.
Prepare monthly WHS reports as required by the Executive Manager, Human Resources or CEO.
Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety (Advanced Diploma or Higher).
Extensive knowledge and experience of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2020, Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act WHS legislation, policies and Procedures.
Demonstrated experience in leading a team of workplace Health, Safety and wellness professionals.
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and/or experience in designing and delivering health & safety training (Desirable).
ICAM Qualification or Qualified in investigating workplace incidents (Desirable).
