About the Position:
WorkPac are currently seeking a Project Controls Advisor to join Rio Tinto based in Perth on a Monday to Friday roster. Reporting to the Principal Renewals Development, this role involves management of project control functions within the Rail Infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
End to end management of costs associated with feasibility studies for the track renewal program ($15-20M annually)
Coordinate capital prioritisation for all infrastructure projects in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO).
Manage and monitor risks and actions assigned to the Rail Infrastructure team, ensuring timely resolution.
Lead stakeholder communication efforts related to infrastructure studies and project portfolios, ensuring clarity and alignment.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in cost control and management across a diverse project portfolio.
Proficiency in schedule management, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
Strong background in developing and delivering stakeholder updates and communications on portfolio status.
Experience in the mining or construction industry is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with SAP.
Competency in data analytics tools such as Power BI and SQL advantageous.
