We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to manage and implement strategic communications and community engagement initiatives for road and drainage infrastructure projects. This role involves working closely with project teams to enhance customer experience through targeted communications.

About The Position:
Manage the development and implementation of community engagement strategies for infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with technical staff to identify communication opportunities.
Provide expert advice to stakeholders on communication needs.
Ensure all communications align with corporate priorities and enhance Council???s reputation.
Represent Council at external stakeholder meetings as needed.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading community engagement activities for road and drainage projects.
Developing and delivering communication tools tailored to diverse community needs.
Providing strategic communication advice and peer reviews of materials.
Enhancing stakeholder relationships and responding to community inquiries.
Mentoring junior team members when necessary.
Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications, with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in managing community engagement across complex infrastructure projects.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a professional team.
IAP2 Certificate in Public Participation / IAP2 Certificate of Engagement is desirable
