ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be an experienced Support Shotfirer with 2 plus years experience in this or a similar role with a background in Drill and Blast operations within the Coal Sector. You will be required to have your SSAN and Assistant Shotfirer Certificate or be willing to obtain this prior to starting on site. This will be a day shift only roster with the exception of the Summer months where some nights will be required at this time. You will be worked 12 hours shifts with the Drill and Blast team on site. There are monthly attendance bonuses based on production targets of site.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Current SSAN and Assistant Shot firing Ticket or willing to obtain
Great attitude towards safety and team culture
Hold or be willing to attain a Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
Current Drivers Licence & Right to Work in Australia
