WorkPac are currently seeking skilled and experienced Dump Truck mining operators for ongoing roles in the Middlemount region. It is imperative that you possess the ability to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Middlemount Mine is an open-cut mine located approximately 90km north-east of Emerald and some 7km west of the township of Middlemount in Queensland's Bowen Basin. The mine produces semi-hard coking coal and medium-volatile pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal for the export market. Mining operations consist primarily of excavator and truck and excavator mining augmented by cast and dozer.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

For successful applicants, you will be working with the Production department operating minimum CAT 789 Dump Trucks assisting to hit production targets. You will have at least 6-month experience within the Mining Industry as a previous operator.

Please note that we are not seeking trainees or entry level operators currently.

If you are a Multiskilled Operator, you will have a minimum of the following: Haul Truck + Water Cart + 1 Ancillary skill (Grader, Dozer, Loader). Some of the equipment on site you will be operating a as follows; Liebherr - 9400 Excavator, Dozers - CAT D10, D11, Graders - CAT 16M, 18, 24M, Loader ??? 980 or Water Truck ??? CAT 777/789.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum 6 months experience operating Haul Trucks (CAT 789, 793, 794)

• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11, or willing to obtain

• Current Drivers Licence

• Current RII or site authorized skills list (Signed by SSE)

• Ability to pass a drug & Alcohol test. ?
