WorkPac are looking for a talented and self motivated individual to join our clients tooling team in the role of toolmaker.
You will report to the toolroom Team Leader and will be required to ensure the efficient introduction, maintenance, operation and continuous improvement of tooling used in the manufacture of product.
This role is on our afternoon shift working from 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday.
Duties:
Manufacture, improve, modify and maintain tooling or it's component parts as directed.
Document and or input data as required to tooling information systems
Ensure standard stock items and or critical spares are recorded for reorder as used.
Stock Check and communicate any stock variance to system.
Actively support team activities to provide a high degree of service and support.
Ensure effective communication across shifts and handover documents completed.
About you:
Trade qualification is essential with manufacturing environment experience desirable.
Skills in Plastic Injection Molding Tooling and or other tooling as required.
Skilled in operation of manual machines and equipment.
Understanding of Geometric and other tolerancing systems.
Ability to interpret tool and product drawings.
Ability to work with the minimum of supervision in an efficient and effective manner.
Must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
