Position Overview
As a Warehouse Leading Hand, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes. You will lead a dedicated team, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of safety and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Manage and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Oversee inventory control, including stock management and order fulfillment.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting and communication.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs for warehouse equipment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
Proven time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
3-5 years of experience in a warehousing supervisor or leadership role.
At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts and performing maintenance tasks.
